British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
